The New Administration
As the inauguration of the new President of the United States is upon us, many in the field of early childhood development are asking what we might expect with the new administration. Does "making America great again" include continuing to recognize that our tax dollars are supremely well spent in early childhood education, supports, and services? Does it include guaranteeing that young men and women have access to comprehensive sexual health information? We can only keep our nation strong in the future if we invest in our families now. Click here to read an article that addresses how you can get involved in assuring that federal funding continues to come to communities in Sullivan and Lower Grafton Counties.

And click on the links in the next box for other ways you can be involved in our work to strengthen families and youth at a local level.

Thank you to all who supported us during our holiday appeal. Your response was greater than last year and that means a great deal to us and the service we provide to our families and youth.

May we work together to make 2017 a truly happy new year.

Volunteer. We need office support, people to make phone calls, new members for our board of directors, people to help in the thrift store, people to write letters or make calls to our elected officials. Call Maggie at 603-542-1848 x 322 for more information.
Celebrating Char Delar
On January 9th, we held our annual meeting at The Old Courthouse Restaurant in Newport. The highlight of the evening was recognizing volunteer Char Delabar for her 22 years of service to our board and to our families. Char was a volunteer working with new moms back in the days where we had volunteers doing home visiting. She has served on the board and as treasurer for many of those 22 years. Char was presented with an engraved pendant of the classic Old Man in the Mountain because her service to children in our region has influence throughout New Hampshire. Thank you, Char! We look forward to continuing to have you volunteer in the office and keep our spirits up.
