Charles Welsh is a managing director of business development at Vantage Investment Advisors. His responsibilities include helping broker-dealers and financial advisors optimize service to their investors through Vantage’s investment advisory services. Mr. Welsh works with broker-dealers to ensure alignment and fit to the Vantage asset management and technology.

Mr. Welsh has over 20 years of asset management, advisor technology and practice management experience. Prior to joining us, he was national accounts sales manager for DST Systems.Mr. Welsh has a degree in marketing and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University.

Happy New Years! I pray that 2016 was a great year for your businesses and families. I share our board’s excitement for what we have planned for our members this year!

Get on the bus as we visit with your state Legislators on issues of importance to insurance agents and financial advisors. The Fort Worth Association of Insurance and Financial Advisor’s Career Service Award will be presented to that individual who, in the judgment of the committee, and with the approval of the Board of Directors, exemplifies the highest ideals of our profession. 

Criteria include:

1)     Service to FWAIFA.
2)     Service to the State and National AIFA.
3)     Years in insurance and related occupation
4)     Insurance professional designations.
5)     Service to CLU, GAMA, TLRT and MDRT.

Production is not a consideration.  The individual may be a non-producing manager, home office employee, general agent, or otherwise engaged in the insurance field.

Help Shape the Future of NAIFA-Fort Worth Leadership

NAIFA-Fort Worth is starting the important process of selecting our future leaders.  Each year, our nominating committee meets to review the pool of nominees that applied or were nominated for open director and/or officer positions.  After that review, the committee will present its recommendations to the board at the regular board meeting.  The nominees selected by the committee shall be published in the newsletter and distributed to all active members at least (1) month prior to the annual meeting, which is held in late April.
