Many new golfers feel overwhelmed with tips from their friends when they tell them that they are starting to learn to golf.  It can get confusing with all the information you are receiving between your friends,reading golf magazines, or watching the Golf Channel. Rest easy!   

Like I had mentioned above, these golf schools fill up fast! I have had to add schools because of demand.

The 'Learn & Play' Golf Schools are 5 sessions, with the 5th session on golf course. Learn the basics and the rules in School I. I will be heading to the annual PGA Merchandise Show this week in Orlando at the Orlando Convention Center. This show is open to all PGA Professionals, both here and worldwide. It is the largest golf show in the world - and believe me- it is enormous. Everything and anything related to golf will be on display. You can spend all 4 days there and still not see all the vendors! I will be heading up to check out all the latest in golf technology, golf training aids and equipment, as well as picking up the 2017 GRAA award for Top 50 Driving Range in the U.S.

The Callaway Golf Company was at Lakewood Ranch Country Club  a couple of weeks ago to give the local Callaway Staff Professionals a chance to try out their new ROGUE product line and golf ball line for 2018.

The verdict: AWESOME! 

The ROGUE product line is an improved version of the current EPIC line that was so popular n 2017. The EPIC driver was The #1 driver on the PGA Tour in 2017.

The reason? Callaway golf's patented Jailbreak technology of two titanium rods placed directly behind the clubface, giving the clubface less expansion at impact and thus giving more distance. 

ROGUE has gone further...this Jailbreak technology is now found in ALL of ROGUE'S drivers, fairway woods AND hybrids!

GOLF BALLS - the new CHROME SOFT and CHROME SOFT X.   The new word is GRAPHENE. Graphene is 1 million times THINNER than a piece of paper; and 200 times stronger than steel. As a result, Callaway was able to make the core of the golf ball larger and the outer core smaller using this Graphene. Result - increased ball speed. I tested it out and got more yardage from it!
