In 2018 we look forward to another great year of friendship and fellowship... and fun!    We hope to see all of you at St.Mary's for our first meeting of 2018.

Ladies Who Lunch will kick off the New Year at Kasira Fine Thai Cuisine.  It's a nice little restaurant with good food and a variety of Thai dishes that will please everyone.
We hope to see many of you there for our first lunch of 2018!

NORTHWEST BAY PROBUS CLUB CELEBRATED CHRISTMAS WITH JAMES BOND ON DECEMBER 6th


 PROBUS members entered a sea of black and gold as they arrived at Fairwinds Golf Club for an evening  of dining, dancing and games of chance in the Casino Royale.  One hundred members and guests enjoyed the grand party.   Many thanks to Kim and her fabulous team!

DECEMBER 1st  MEETING AND AGM



December's meeting was a rousing kick-off to the Christmas Season and was the
culmination of another incredible year for Northwest Bay PROBUS Club.  It was also our Annual General Meeting.  We reviewed the year, discussed the Club's financial position, and approved the 2018 budget.  And then the fun started as we began our Christmas celebrations.  To read more and see photos click here...

IMPORTANT REMINDER: IT'S TIME TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP!!

Another great year is beginning for our Northwest Bay PROBUS Club and it's time to renew our annual dues.  Dues remain at $30 per member.  Please go to the link below to print the two-page membership form and bring your cheques to the January 5 meeting.  If you are planning to spend the next month or two in southern sunshine and warmth, don't forget to renew your membership before you go.  Download the form...
Here's What's in the Works...
Robert Grose continues to select fascinating speakers for our general meetings.  Here is the line-up for the next few months: 

On January 5, Kathleen Gilbert's topic will be Naming the Named:  The Surveying, Mapping and Naming of BC's Coast.

On February 2 Darin Guenette, Manager of Public Affairs will give us a BC Ferries Update and promises to answer any of our questions.

On March 2nd we will hear from Dwight Owens on the topic of Sunken Treasure:  Canada's Hydro Thermal Vents.

On April 6th John Deniseger will tell us about the new Rhodendron Gardens at Milner Gardens.

In the works for early in 2018 is another Trivia Night, when our Club will challenge Nanoose Bay Probus Club.  Watch your eNews for further details.
