Every year, the National Bike Summit gives another opportunity to hear from others about model ways we can make our towns more bike and pedestrian friendly. The Active Transportation Leadership Institute (Sat eve and Sunday) is a deal at $100. Saturday eve is a social, and Sunday is a full day of intensive workshops (Monday & Tuesday are conference days). Wednesday is Lobby Day, which will move national policy again,
as it already gave us policies we see making changes today at SCDOT.
3615 yesterday re-entered the legislative session in the SC House of Representatives. Stay tuned for our Action Alerts! This bill, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Act, now resides in committee, and we're working to move it back to the full House.
