Lamentations 3:22-27

"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
"The Lord is my portion," says my soul,
"Therefore I hope in Him!"
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
For the salvation of the Lord.
It is good for a man to bear
The yoke in his youth."
Pushing the Restart Button

We've all been there...that day, that month, that year, that season, that situation, that relationship and/or that job we wish we could restart and go about differently. Maybe it's even wishing you could restart your life.

Whether it's to view differently, respond differently or make a different decision, most of us could probably think of something we wanted to restart.

The bad news is no restart button exists for the past. We can't change what has already happened. The good news is a restart button always exists for today where we can  heal and learn from the past, view it in a different light where God uses it for our good and His glory, and move forward in freedom, grace and truth.

How do we know this? Because of who God says that He is and what He says that He does. His mercy upon our lives is new EVERY morning. His compassion NEVER fails. He is a faithful God even when we are not faithful back.

We can turn to Him and seek Him, wait on Him, hope for Him at any point and He WILL be there. It's just a decision to make the effort and have the attitude to do so. He is our guide, our protector, our provider, our teacher, our friend. And He is GOOD because He is God.

I Care About How My Kids Look During Their Sporting Events
By: Christy Cabe

Alright moms. This one is for you! What does the quote, "It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you look playing the game," mean to you toward your "mini-me" athletes? To Christy, it may not mean what you think.

Virtuous Woman: Excellence

The goal of the FCA Virtuous Woman Curriculum is to present to women in the arena of athletics the privilege and challenge of learning and living out Biblical Womanhood in all areas of life. This goal is accomplished by introducing character traits found in female biblical characters that they can model in their own personal life.

Virtuous Woman: Excellence is a 12-session study that focuses on the last of four core values of FCA: Excellence. Excellence is not only an attitude but also an attribute. It is "honoring and glorifying God in all we do." A virtuous woman goes the extra mile and takes the time to do it right because she desires to honor God by, "...work(ing) at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord..." (Colossians 3:23). The primary text of Part IV is Proverbs 31:24-31.

Part 4 from Focus on the Family's Series,
"Male and Female: By Design"
by Jeff Johnston

This six part series confronts both the issue we're facing in our society today about male and female differences and how it intersects with what Christian's believe based on God's Word.

*This is in no way comprehensive but rather just a glimpse into a subject that requires extensive research and even more study in God's Word, prayer, and listening to the Holy Spirit. It simply sheds some awareness on something that is good to question and look for Truth about.

*We are looking at this series as a whole, not just one article. We understand there is vague wording that requires more research. We also recognize the lack of Scripture on some points, which is where we really need to look first.

*God extends immeasurable and unending grace and love to us. It's okay to be confused and to question. It's good to question. We just want that to motivate you to seek to find answers and to seek Jesus first in finding those answers.

*This is not necessarily reflective of the views of Winning Women or FCA.
