Join us for a special evening of moon-related activities leading up to the total lunar eclipse. Our Observatory will be open and Warren Astronomical Society members will have telescopes set up outside for eclipse viewing, weather permitting. Visitors can also enjoy a new show,
Eclipses and the Night Sky
in the Acheson Planetarium, presentations on the origin of the Moon, Virtual Reality, space slime, a discussion on the myths and legends surrounding eclipses, and more. All activities and events are available for an all-inclusive price of: $15 for members, $20 for non-members, and children under age 2 are free. Save money if you pre-register online. Visit our

Searching for the Latest Dinosaurs in North America: 3 Decades of Fieldwork in the Latest Cretaceous Rocks of the American West
from paleontologist and fossil-hunter John Hankla. This dynamic experience will take place at 7:00pm in the Institute’s auditorium. Seats are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
