Korine Haney and Kelly Haneyboth Lawrence North Class of 1992, were part of the Ribbon Cutting at Whitinger & Company. Whitinger and the Haney CPA Group recently announced a merger that will enhance the offerings of the two firms. Kelly will serve as a Senior Manager and Korine will serve as a Senior Manager and Market Leader. Their dad and founder of Haney CPA group will continue to work alongside his daughters as a Consultant. Click here to read more. 

Kaitlen (Jensen) Bryzinski , Lawrence North Class of 2005, and her husband, Christian, welcomed twin boys into their family in 2018. Campbell and William are twice as much fun for the entire family. Congrats to the entire family. 

Courtney Thomas, Lawrence Central Class of 2008, had a big year. Not only did she and her husband, Stephen Thomas, (Winding Ridge Elementary) welcome their beautiful daughter, Chloe, to their family, Courtney also graduated from Butler University with her license in Educational Administration. There is a lot for the Thomas family to celebrate this year!

Seth JohnsonLawrence North Class of 2009,
continues to make a name for himself in journalism. After college he began a freelance career and in April of 2018 was named the Music Editor for NUVO magazine. This September, Seth also began covering the Pacers and other entertainment news. Click here to check out his recent interview with John Cusack and other articles. 

Margo Tucker, Lawrence Central Class of 2010, recently passed the Uniform Bar Exam in Colorado, enabling her to practice law in Colorado as well as 22 other states outside of Indiana. Congratulations Margo on a job well done. Prior to attending Law School at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Margo attended the University of New Mexico where she was on a scholarship for pole vaulting. 


Kyle Guy , Lawrence Central Class of 2016 , continues to have quite the LT following. Recently the Virginia Cavaliers were playing Notre Dame and a 40 passenger bus left Lawrence Township for the 280 mile round trip to see this former Bear and Mr. Basketball in action. Teachers, classmates, family, and friends were there for the victory. Check out the Indy Star article.

LTSF Announces Celebration Honorary Chair

Tamara Markey is an innovative, passionate, and dynamic educator who draws from and applies to her classroom nearly a decade of real-world experience as an Engineer with Amoco Oil and BP Pipelines. Mrs. Markey teaches Pre-engineering at McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology and is the 2019 Indiana Teacher of the Year. Click here for more.

Do you know of a  Lawrence Central or  Lawrence North high school senior pursuing higher education who could use some money to ease the financial burden of college? Be sure to tell them about the LTSF scholarships. LTSF offers over 30 scholarships each year.
