January 2019 Newsletter
By beginning the new year with assistance from Family Promise and the community, families in a situation of homelessness experience joy and hope for a better future. Through perseverance, support, and guidance, individuals and families are offered a path to living independent, rewarding lives.
We offer our warmest thanks to our volunteers and donors!!
Many Thanks!
A huge thank you to Holy Family School in Florham Park for a tower of boxes filled with pajamas, hats and gloves. Many individuals are now staying warmer this winter with these much-needed items!
A tremendous thank you to Mrs. Flanagan's third grade students from Arthur Stanlick Elementary School in Jefferson. The students decorated boxes and filled them with various food items such as pasta, soup, tuna, rice, cereal, and more. What an amazing act of kindness and helpfulness that touched many families!
We want to offer a special thank you to all who donated this holiday season. Of special note, the Holiday Party was filled with gifts, activities, sweets and genuine kindness, shared by all. There were so many donors whose contributions made an incredible difference in our families seasonal celebrations - more then we can list! Donors will receive a personalized thank you for their generous support.

With gratitude, FPMC Guests, Staff, Volunteers & Board.
Project Homeless Connect
Family Promise continues to enjoy supporting Project Homeless Connect at St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Morristown. It was a successful day of providing community services and support to individuals experiencing homelessness and those at risk of a housing crisis. Individuals were also treated to haircuts, backpacks, pet therapy, food, linkages to resources, referrals and much more. Getting basic needs while receiving support helps to build self-esteem and a positive community relationship!
Holiday Fun!

In the spirit of the holiday season, little guests at Family Promise had fun getting
creative with cookie decorating and making their own decorations.
