Sudberry Properties has started construction of a 100-guest-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton at Breakwater Town Center, 771 Palm Ave., Imperial Beach.  The hotel is a four-story, 62,000-square-foot project with “beach modern” architecture, a fitness center, breakfast and lounge area, business center and swimming pool. It is the final phase of Breakwater Town Center, a public-private partnership by the city of Imperial Beach and Sudberry Properties.

Vanessa Linn, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Shea Homes San Diego ,  has been inducted as a Lifetime Director of San Diego BIA's Sales and Marketing Council. Vanessa was awarded the honor in recognition of her over 10 years of service to the Council, which she Chaired in 2011. Vanessa's well-regarded reputation and skill sets, garnered over 20 years in the new home sales industry, has helped the SMC gain huge strides to the benefit of the SMC membership. Vanessa joins an elite group of just 15 SDBIA SMC Lifetime Directors.

The nationally-ranked and awarded multi-family general contractor, Wermers Multi-Family Corporation, completed construction of Luna at Pacific Highlands Ranch – a community of 79 one, two, three and four-bedroom affordable rental homes located on Pacific Place Drive at Pacific Highlands Ranch. The project included two 4-story, Type V-A buildings. Wermers Multi-Family Corporation has built over 2,000 affordable units (est) in San Diego alone.
