Happy New Year! January music classes will focus on fun songs where we move our bodies since the colder weather prevents us from getting outside as often as we would like. It's important to keep developing the children's gross motor skills even though we are stuck inside! Hopefully we will get some snow this month, but either way, we will be singing lots of songs about winter and snow! We will also have fun exploring the musical instruments as we explore rhythm and tempo.

During Children's Chapel our classes join Rev. Mary Kay, Rev. Will or Miss Maureen to pray, hear a Bible lesson and sing some fun songs.
This year, families are invited to join us for Children's Chapel for our two special family celebrations during the months of December and May.
For the remaining school months, the classes will join Rev. Mary Kay, Rev. Will and/or Miss Maureen in smaller groups for their lessons.

We hope you had a wonderful holiday break!
Registration for next school year begins on Monday, January 7th. Please see
below
for all the important dates. Please let any families who may be looking for a preschool know that our Open House is Tuesday, January 22nd at 7pm in the church. Snow date is Wednesday, January 23rd.
We are sure January will bring cold weather and possibly snow. Please be sure your children have warm coats, hats, and gloves at school each day! Classes will go outside, at least for a short time, if the temperature is above 32 degrees.
This is also a good time to check the clothes in your child's backpack and be sure they still fit and are weather appropriate.
You can find the school calendar and all upcoming events on our website's
News & Events page.

Greetings!
Happy New Year! It's January 2019 and the possi
bilities are endless! Our teachers are refreshed and ready to start again. January is the month for changing the routine and trying new things. It's also the time when we begin registratio
n for next year. Information will be coming home next week for all of our current families to register for next year. In a few weeks, we will open the preschool to the community. Our annual Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, January 22 at 7:00 pm. Please spread the word to your friends! You are our best advertising!
As adults, we often think we can't try something new. This January, we challenge you to try something new. We have lots of opportunities here at St. David's. POPS is a great way to get involved and the church offers many different family friendly activities and activities for men and women. Stop by the front desk or talk with Julie and Ann-Marie if you want more information.
Blessings,
