New internship resources for students and employers
Internships can build powerful partnerships for students, employers, and the university. To ensure both students and employers get the most of these experiences, The Division of Career Pathways created new resources including:
  • Host an Intern (employers) - Whether employers are strengthening an existing internship program or creating a new internship opportunity, Career Pathways provide guidelines and resources to help organizations of all sizes and types.
On-demand career & internship advice: CareerSpots video library

Students can find career and internship advice at any time through our new video library with CareerSpots. These brief, engaging videos present topics including:
  • Personal Brand: Set Yourself Apart
  • How Did You Get THAT Job?
  • Make Your Resume Pop
  • Top 10 Interview Mistakes
  • Every Interaction is an Interview

And dozens more!

FUN FACT FROM CAREER PATHWAYS
Did you know...
 
Career Pathways hosted five fairs in the fall quarter including the STEM Fair in October which had more than 3,600 student participants in one day! The 130 employers included Amazon, Blizzard Entertainment, Google, Northrup Gruman, Boeing and more!
 
UCI Anteater Family Weekend

February 8-9, 2019
Anteater Family Weekend offers you and your family the opportunity to come back to campus and share the UCI experience with your Anteater! Together, you will be able to get a snapshot into the life of your student and see how the university continues to achieve excellence in teaching, research, and public service.

Together, you will be able to take classes, meet with professors and deans, attend "Zotpalooza", take a photo with Peter the Anteater and enjoy refreshments and a bite to eat at one of the many social events!

Parents, guardians and other family members of current UCI students are welcome to attend! Registration is now open!
