 Ward off winter’s cold on the Berks County Wine Trail! Our Winter Warmer Wine Tasting Weekend is coming, January 18 and 19, 2020. Leave winter at the doorstep of our cozy winery locations and enjoy featured wines together with samples of hot soups, heavenly desserts, and other comfort-inspired pairings, sure to melt Winter’s chill like a warm and friendly hug.

Bundle up and take a self-guided tour of the frosty Berks County area winter landscapes for wine tastings at our 11 wine trail locations from noon until 5:00 both days. Winter Warmers is a free sampling event; no tickets or reservations needed for the featured pairing at each winery. Note, most wineries charge a tasting fee for their full wine list.

Setter Ridge - A special Chocolate Bourbon spiked Syrah cocktail and a Spicy Mexican Hot Chocolate Fudge

Stoudt's Winery - From orchard country, it's Appalachian Spice Wine served with a warm, old-fashioned Apple Crisp

Deerfoot Winery - Steaming Pumpkin Coriander soup paired with Cabernet Franc Country Rose

Ridgewood Winery - Olde Orchard Hot Butter Rum cocktail splashed over Vanilla Ice Cream

Weathered - Buttery steamed potato-filled Pierogies, topped with caramelized onion, and served with a toasty oaked Chardonnay

KOG Hill Winery - Warm up with a hearty and flavor-packed Southwest Turkey Chili served alongside a light and fruity Pinot Noir

Manatawny Creek Winery - Mushroom sauce tops a creamy Mac & Cheese paired with the sunshine flavor of Soliel, a Cayugy & Seyval Blanc, wine
Stone Barn Cellars - Loaded Potato Soup with bacon, cheese, and all the fixin’s, served with customer favorite Vidal Blanc

Stonekeep Meadery - Piping hot Butternut Squash Bisque served with crisp and fragrant Gewurztraminer or Cayuga for a sweeter wine pairing

Calvaresi Winery - Warmed Winter Spice wine and Apple Pie Sangria, like homemade apple pie in a glass

Long Trout Winery - Cheeseburger Tots are like a burger and fries without the drive-thru paired with Afternoon Delight (Pinot Gris) and Wine Hot Chocolate for a warm and sweet ending

Toast Valentines’ Day during two sweet weekends of wine and chocolate pairings. Visit each of the 11 wineries along the Berks County Wine Trail February 8 - 9 and 15 - 16, and we guarantee you'll fall in love!
Tickets for this event are on sale now through February 7th for just $10/ea. (plus online ticketing fees) and $15/ea. beginning February 8th. Valid at all 11 wine trail locations, noon until 5 pm, for any of the event dates. Pairing details coming soon!
