Age-Friendly Teaneck Enters 4th Year With Exciting New Plans
Age-Friendly Teaneck was recently awarded a renewal grant from the Henry and Marilyn Taub Foundation, which will continue our community-building efforts for the next two years. We also want to share news of our future plans, which include some new partnerships as well as continued collaboration with the Township government and our community partners.

Affordable housing units are included in new apartment buildings underway at 227 Teaneck Road and 1500 Teaneck Road.

New Teaneck History Book Soon to Hit Shelves - Book Signing on Feb 9
As Teaneck nears its 125th birthday, a local writer has a lovely present for those who want to learn more about the Township’s rich and diverse past.
A new book, “Images of America: TEANECK, written by local author Jay Levin, will be released Jan. 27
The Teaneck Historical Society will host a book sale and signing.

Important Update: Ride Program Now Offered in Teaneck
Non-Profit Service Still Looking for More Teaneck Drivers to Volunteer, But Older Residents Can Now Sign up for Rides
UPDATE: Some newTeaneck volunteers have signed on to drive for ITN North Jersey, meaning there are now limited spots for older or visually impaired adults in Teaneck to enroll and begin receiving rides from this four-year-old program.
