JANUARY 2020 NEWSLETTER
Wow! The Class of 2020 was able to see Davidson County aka Music City the way you should...through a perspective of community. Day One started with an optional lunch gathering, then onto an insider's view of the music industry at BMI Nashville, followed by a tour of Casa Azafran, an inclusion and diversity panel, a tour of a brewery with a stop for dinner and neighborhood panel with the Mayor of Nashville. If you think that was enough, wrong! It was spend the evening in Wedgewood Houston and discover your inner karaoke. Day Two began at the Tennessee State Museum with an art panel, followed by Nashville-a Civil Society at the Nashville Public Library. Lunch was at the Downtown Sporting Club with the day ending with a criminal justice panel and the class caucus wrap up. Thank you to the Davidson County planners, sponsors and speakers! Great job!
