Multi-cultural Children's Book Day is at the end of this month on January 31st. What a great time to make sure our libraries reflect our diverse population. I think every kid deserves to see themself on a book cover! Don't you? Click here for a free poster and classroom kit.

As we say good-bye to 2019, we also have to say good-bye to celebrated children's author, Andrew Clements who passed away at the end of November. Frindle was his favorite book of mine. He was actually working on a sequel when he died.
World Read Aloud Day is February 5th!
check out this fabulous event idea packet! If you'd like me to read aloud to your class, contact me here.
If you're planning ahead for Dr. Seuss' birthday on March 2nd, here's an excellent resource.
I have two free Skype days left for this school year. The next is on Bailey School Kids Day, March 23, 2020. I have some open spots if you're interested in a free Skype or Google Hangout session with me. Contact me here.

Just in case you ever wanted Bailey School Kids playing cards, here they are for free! Print as many as you'd like.
I will be in the Pittsburgh area around April 17th and would love to visit your school. Contact me if you're interested. I will work with your school's budget to make it happen!
Whatever holiday you celebrated in December, I hope it was a peaceful and happy time. I was blessed to be able to spend Christmas with my my husband, my kids, my daughter-in-law, future grandson, and future son-in-law. What a special time!! I will be spending lots of time around Boston and southern New Hampshire at the end of this school year if you'd like me to visit your organization or school.
