COVID rapid testing
District launches program at pilot campuses
Pearland ISD is currently taking part in a statewide program offering voluntary COVID-19 rapid tests for use in schools. The testing program is being implemented in phases within the district.

On Jan. 11, the district will begin Phase 2, which includes testing symptomatic on-campus students at eight pilot campuses in the district, including: Dawson HS, Pearland HS, Turner CCHS, PACE, PJH South, Sablatura Middle School, Cockrell and Silvercrest Elementaries. More

District celebrates National Mentoring Month
January is National Mentoring Month! While COVID-19 has changed the way we do RISE Mentoring during the 2020-21 school year, it has not changed the importance of the relationship between our mentors and their mentees. They continue to connect and grow together through letters, phone calls, emails and even virtual meetings.
