View a Recap of our December 4, 2020 Meeting

Thanks to each of you who participated in our end-of-year group meeting on December 4, 2020, where we reviewed the status of our MCAN Case Statement and then worked together in our Bold Idea Teams to plan for our community work in 2021.

We also shared a special tribute to one of our original literacy leaders, United Way’s CEO Michael Kint, to wish him well in his retirement. We’re happy to report that Michael will continue to be involved in the important work of MCAN, working to ensure children are ready for kindergarten and 90% are reading on level by the end of third grade!

The meeting was recorded and can be viewed with the link shown here.

Growth data will be crucial to understanding how COVID-19 impacted student progress and ensuring every student gets the support they need to get back on track for success.
