AMMO!!!! AMMO!!! AMMO!!!!
MORE AMMO NEWS!!!

I do have SOME ammunition available.

This ammunition shortage is not going away soon. Word from the manufacturers and suppliers is that we should expect to be dealing with this well into 2021. You need tp plan accordingly. Avoiding live fire training will not be conducive to your skills. You can do a lot of dry fire training but you still have to get out on the range and go live.

Yes. I get it. Prices are ridiculous. I too bought a case of 9mm in April for under 200.00. That was then, this is now. The prices nowadays are what they are going to be for a while - and they will go up!

We will need to buckle down and decide on what quantity will get you through the next few months. If you plan on shooting 50rds every other week for 12 months. That's 1200 rds as a minimum!. Add in any training you'll need to attend and that easily doubles.

Every day I scour a few websites looking for the best pricing on ammo. As I find deals, I pass them along.

Here is one such opportunity!

GROUP AMMO BUY OPPORTUNITY

The first buy resulted in 46 case order. Well done! January's is at 38 cases now!!

I am collecting interest for another pre order. If possible, I will try to fill this one sometime in mid January.

I am taking reservations and pre payments for a February order as well.

I found a supplier that can get some 9mm. The cost is $600 for a case of 1000 rds. It's still pricey but if you look online, you'll still have to pay shipping and tax to get it here into NY. Best price I have found is 685.00 with all the fees. I AM GETTING THIS FOR YOU FOR $600!!!

The brand is Sarsilmaz and the specs are: 115gr 9mm. FMJ. 1213FPS rated and 405 ftlbs. The ammo is made in a NATO spec factory for the Turkish Military. Matt and I have tested this ammo at the range and it worked in numerous handguns. The functionality and accuracy results are good. I have talked to a few people that know this brand and they say it functions very well.

You can either ask for a case or 1/2 case but nothing less please. Full case price is $600. A half case is $325. I will need to know your quantity as soon as possible so I can get the order to the supplier. I am HOPING to go pick it up in a couple weeks but it may be longer depending on the supply chain.

Don't be afraid to ask for what you need. Don't limit yourself. If you want a thousand or two, ask for it. This ammo shortage is not going away soon. Plan on at least a year or more.

If you go to the range 2x a month and shoot 50rds, that's 1200rds a year. That frequency will keep you barely adequate in your skills. The typical shooter should plan on at least 1000-1200rds a year minimum. Add in any training courses and you're at 2000 very easily. I always suggest a buffer or stockpile of 50% of what you normally shoot, so add in another thousand.

If I were you, I would find a way to acquire at least 3000 rounds in the next few months. Train often (not casual range practice) and have some on hand.

I'll be closing out the January order soon, so don't delay. Email me or call me ASAP.

I can also get a small amount of 223/556 ammo. I'm just waiting on a final price and quantity.

For the exotic shooter:

I have 8 50rd boxes of 9mm Makarov. 5 are from Norinco and three are from PPU. This stuff is rare and not very available right now.
35.00 a box and they are yours. Take them all for 265!

Collector's Ammunition:
Next up is some 9mm L7A1 ammunition. I have about 770rds in boxes.

THIS IS NOT FOR A HANDGUN!!!
This is not the fake Russion stuff either. This THE Hirtenberger L7A1 ammo. I'll send you pics of the boxes and headstamps to prove it.

Made by Hirtenberger, this ammunition is meant to be used in submachine guns such as an Uzi, H&K MP5, etc. Here's some history on this ammo:
"Hirtenberger has produced two types of SMG ammunition. Both were developed on request for the British Ministry Of Defence: L7A1- This ammunition was produced between 1990 and 1992. Many samples exceed the NATO maximum chamber pressure specification for small arms, which is 50,000 PSI (345 MPa). For this reason, the British MOD ceased to use it. Contrary to popular belief, these rounds were not designed for arctic conditions, nor were they developed for the Sterling SMG. They were designed for use in H&K MP5 series SMGs. Although they were undoubtedly tested under arctic conditions, the use of the term "adverse conditions" in its designation is more euphemistic than anything else.

In terms of the commercial availability of these rounds, the MOD released 12 million rounds of L7A1 ammunition as surplus. Since the ammunition is packaged in a 1,200 round case, this means that 10,000 cases were released. Since HP refuses to sell this ammunition to the public, and only produced L7A1 in 1990, 1991, and 1992, and only for the British contract, that means that the entire world's supply consists of 10,000 cases.

Likewise, within several months of release, BATF banned the importation of the ammunition, due to its being unsafe for use in handguns. This second fact makes the ammunition even more rare in the United States. Only a very few models of carbines and submachine guns are suitable for firing the ammunition in; if in doubt, contact the manufacturer and ask them about the use of L7A1 ammunition in their guns."

If you are interested in the L7A1, contact me. Or pass the info along to someone you know who might want some.

ALSO:
I am STILL working on obtaining some defensive ammunition (JHP) from a private source.
Included in the lot of ammunition is:
9mm Federal HST
45 Federal HST
45 Remington Golden Saber
.223 from Fiocchi
5.56 from ZQI
12ga slugs
12ga Buckshot

And more.

Once I have the ammunition lot in my hands, I will send out another email. All ammunition will be first come first served. Don't be greedy on this stuff. There is quite a bit but let's try to allow more people the chance to obtain some self defense rounds vs just a few people buying at all up.

ESTATE AMMO PURCHASE

I stumbled across a bunch of 9mm from an estate sale. IT'S BEEN GOING QUICK.
Here's what I have left:

10 100rd Boxes Winchester @ $60 per box

3 250 lots of Speer Lawman in 45. (5 boxes in 3 packages)
Cost: 200.00 each pack.

The above ammo is first come, first grab. I started with over 12,000rds in this batch and it's down to what you see above. Cash is preferred. Let me know how much you want and we will get together.

I also have a SMALL supply of 9mm on hand for new students. If you are taking an upcoming USCCA Handgun Basics course, you will have priority. I actually bought some a while ago to supply classes to afford new shooters the chance to learn.

I will not ship ammo. Don't ask. You must come to the training Center to pick it up. OR arrange to meet me at a course location.

Payment: Cash or checks in advance to guarantee your order.

I can also accept Venmo payments, labeled as "School Supplies" or "Garden Seeds" as well.

Again, you must contact me. 585-406-6758 or [email protected]. Please be specific about the ammo, quantity, and other details when you message or call.

You're safe until you're not. For a lot of people, a comfort level exists because they live in a low crime area or they work at a relatively safe job, etc. I learned a long time ago that denial is a soft fuzzy blanket that we wrap ourselves in - and it's an unsafe state of mind. There are predators among us who will take every opportunity to do whatever it is they want; all they need is the chance. We'll train you to be prepared and stay safe.
