What We're Up To
Where We've Been (And Where We're Going)
As the year rounded to an end, Epsilon remained active in many virtual events taking on moderator and speaker roles. While 2020 changed the face of how we interact, these virtual events have proven to be a great opportunity to make sure we stay up to date with current industry trends and stay connected with colleagues.

Presented, Moderated, & Attended On November 17, Senior Engineer Clint Cyr presented during the Institute of Noise Control Engineering’s virtual NOISE-CON 2020. He presented during the session focusing on community and industrial noise. Clint’s presentation — Combined Heat And Power Project - A Community Noise Case Study— provided attendees with an overview of noise issues related to combined heat and power facilities.

On December 16, Principal Dale Raczynski served as a member of a panel for the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association’s (NECA’s) Environmental Challenges for Tomorrow’s Energy Industry event. The event focused on how energy projects and their intersection with environmental issues have been increasingly in the news. Dale provided insight on what he is seeing happening in the energy industry and the air quality issues arising from energy projects. Check out this news article for some highlights from the event.

On December 9th and 10th, Senior Consultant Dorothy Buckoski attended A&WMA's Virtual Information Exchange Conference. The virtual program covered policy updates, regulatory changes, unpublished U.S. EPA regulatory plans, and cutting edge research on the latest environmental topics. These topics were highly relevant and included ambient air monitoring sensors updates; PFAS measurements, modeling, and incineration research; and New Source Review changes; among other topics.
