Daniel Wang: Academic Excellence

Piano senior Daniel Wang is Dreyfoos’ 2021 nominee for the Academic Excellence Pathfinder award, a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist, and he also earned a perfect composite score on the ACT! 

“Some people might think that Dreyfoos is competitive, but it's not — people are very supportive of each other. That's something that's really shaped me as a person,” says Wang.

Jeremy Michaels: From Pop Rock Star to Storyteller

Jeremy Michaels, class of '08 theatre alumnus, has most recently been working on Broadway’s Tony and Grammy nominated Jagged Little Pill quarantine virtual productions. 

“I came to Dreyfoos and felt like I had a real outlet and place to be educated,” says Michaels.

Q&A With Darlene Dzuba

Darlene Dzuba is a SOAFI board member, and is also the Vice President and Wealth Trust Advisor for U.S. Bank. Ms. Dzuba utilizes the U.S. Bank’s Employee Matching Gift Program to increase the impact of her donations to the School of the Art Foundation.

“I always say [that] the tour is the deal closer for Dreyfoos, because that's the opportunity you [get] to walk on the campus, meet the students, really feel that energy that's going on at the school,” says Dzuba.
