United Way Now Accepting Nominations for Annual Volunteer Awards
Nominations are now being accepted for United Way of East Central Iowa's Volunteer Awards that will be presented this spring. The deadline to nominate an outstanding volunteer is January 31, 2021. Visit here to view the six volunteer award categories and submit a nomination.
Nonprofits Invited to Participate In Update of United Way's Nonprofit Volunteer Leadership Directory
United Way of East Central Iowa is updating its Nonprofit Volunteer Leadership Directory for board and committee volunteer opportunities in 2021. To be included in the directory, update your nonprofit profile here before January 15. The Directory is available to BOLD (Board Orientation & Leadership Development) graduates who have completed the comprehensive board training. The directory will also be available on the United Way website and shared with those interested in sharing their skills in a leadership position. Wellmark Foundation MATCH Grant Application Available
The Wellmark Foundation MATCH (Matching Assets to Community Health) grants are now accepting applications to support communities across Iowa and South Dakota. Large MATCH grants (requests up to $100,000) are due on February 17, 2021. Small MATCH grants (requests up to $25,000) are due on May 26, 2021.
