The #1 Resource for International Students at SRJC

🌍 Welcome to a New Year! 🌏
To all international students who are joining us in-person this semester, WELCOME!! We are thrilled that 20 new students from 14 countries are starting at SRJC in Spring 2022! Many students have also returned to the U.S. after taking a break from their studies during the pandemic. We're so happy that you are here!

While in-person instruction will continue as planned, all in-person services will remain remote until February 1st, with the exception of the SRJC Bookstore and Student Health Services. Visit our website and let us know how we can help!

Important Notice:
Beginning January 1st, 2022, SRJC will require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for anyone that is coming to campus.
If you are enrolled in an in-person class, you will receive an invitation via text and email to create a profile with CLEARED4, which is the platform SRJC will use to verify your vaccination status. For more information and help, click here.

Effective Spring 2022, SRJC students will be dropped immediately after registering for an in-person class if they don't already have a Blue Pass in CLEARED4.

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
Every January the United States celebrates the achievements of Martin Luther King Jr., a civil rights leader who fought nonviolently against racial segregation. On Monday, Jan. 17th there will be no classes and the district will be closed.
Add/Drop Deadlines
After Tuesday, Jan. 25th you will need an instructor's add code to register for a semester-length class. This can be a hustle! Be sure to plan ahead and register for classes ASAP. Also, the last day you can drop a semester-length class and be eligible for a refund/fee reversal is Sunday, Jan. 30th. Don't forget these dates!
More important dates and deadlines can be found on the Academic Calendar.
πŸ’ International Student Blogs πŸ’
Study in the USA blogs are a great way to gain genuine insight into what it’s like to be an international student in the U.S. The blogs are written by current students from all over the world who want to share a wide variety of authentic experiences with you. Each semester, SRJC selects an international student blogger, and this semester Micaela Baquero Garcia was chosen. She is excited to share her perspectives and hopes that some of her experiences resonate with you. Don’t miss her most recent blog titled β€œRun, Don’t Walk for These Classes.” The timing for this blog is perfect because spring classes are just about to start!
