Happy New Year from Adoption Mosaic! The end of 2021 comes with the opportunity to reflect on our growth and connections which is launching us into 2022. We are thrilled to continue to build on this foundation with new and existing programming, exciting partnerships and our ever growing community.

This year we are excited to announce a new consultation program, Family Connections. This program helps to shoulder the burden many adoptees experience when wanting to talk about their adoption experience with their adoptive parents. I have spent decades navigating, alongside my parents, how to approach conversations of race, racism, changing my name, corruption, search, the adoption industry, reunion, birth parent relationships, and so on. For so many years us adoptees have been either not having these conversations with our families or having them in isolation with the results ending in frustration and loss. I believe that adoptees shouldn’t have to lose another set of parents due to a lack of family support. As an adoption competent professional, I can help adoptees and their adoptive families connect to education resources, approach difficult conversations, and create strategies for support. For more information sign up for a free 15 min consultation.

In addition, we will continue with our very popular, We the Experts: Adoptee and Adoptee Ally Speaker Series panel and Conscious Adoption: Parent Education courses: Transracial Parenting, Tough Conversations, Seasoned Parents, Path to Now- each twice a year.

Stay tuned for upcoming information about some exciting new partnerships with adoption conferences and summer camps.

Best wishes as we head into 2022 and as always, thank you for your continued support of Adoption Mosaic,
We hope you can join us to hear from this inspiring group of adoptee filmmakers, producers, and directors who will be sharing their journey of self discovery and how they have balanced being the subjects of their own films.
