The Corwin Hardham Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to Gorge high school seniors pursuing post-secondary degrees in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). All students from Hood River, Wasco, Sherman, Skamania and Klickitat Counties who are graduating from high school, home school or receiving a GED in the spring/ summer are eligible to apply. The University of Oregon's Computer and Information Science (CIS) Department is interested in expanding and strengthening its relationship with the tech industry across the state of Oregon. Companies and individuals are needed to instruct 1-2 weeks of the System and Network Administration course for senior undergraduate students during the Spring 2022 term (April-June 2022).

Oregon’s Clean Vehicle Rebate Program was created to encourage residents to purchase or lease zero-emissions vehicles to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions statewide. Washington’s Retirement Marketplace, operated by the Department of Commerce, is an online marketplace where qualified financial services firms offer low-cost retirement savings plans to businesses and individuals, including sole proprietors, “gig” workers and the self-employed. This resource is designed to increase Washingtonians’ retirement savings by making it easier and less costly for smaller employers to provide retirement savings options to their workforce. This training course consists of a series of live training sessions with roundtable discussion and weekly Study Hall mentorship hours. The program is for established business owners with two or more years’ experience owning and operating a small business and are currently based in Washington state. This course is offered for free to Washington businesses through 2022!
