A Note from the President

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a merry Christmas and ready for 2022. David and I are excited to start this new year within the quilt guild and see what everyone creates this year. We are working on the budget and hope to introduce this month and vote on next month. David is lining up speakers and we will share some of our ideas for this year meetings. We will be concentrating on the quilt show in March and we need everyone to sell tickets for our raffle quilt, make things for us to sell in our booth and volunteer to work in our booth.

We will also introduce our officers so everyone knows who we are, what our positions are and how we can help if you have a need. We are both new to being officers so please bear with us as we step into these roles.

Looking forward to seeing you in the new year.

Thanks, Sonya O’Shields

Secretary's Report - December Meeting Notes

What a wonderful Christmas party we enjoyed, all thanks to Sonja O’Shields and elves! Over 40 members came and enjoyed many dishes and fun games. A number of beautiful quilts were shown for show and tell and our outgoing president received a wonderful gift of a purse and others treasures for her service to the guild. The minutes were approves from the month of November and Susan Yell discussed the booth at the March quilt show. Please see the other information about this in the newsletter.

Reminder about the booth for the March show. Plan to drop off the items you are making for the booth. You will receive tickets for the treasures you donate. Please keep in mind, is this something you would want to buy?

I will be out front in the hallway ready to take your items and pass out tickets. Thanks to all who participate.
