Kissimmee Gateway Airport Ends 2021 on an
Award-Winning High Note!
In December 2021, our airport’s control tower was honored with the Outstanding Facility of the Year Award for the fiscal year 2020 from Robinson Aviation, Inc. (RVA). RVA, celebrating 34 years in the aviation business, provides air traffic control tower services at 102 airports in the southeastern and southern United States, under contract with the Federal Aviation Administration.

Facility of the Year Award selection criteria includes internal and external audit results, customer satisfaction and airport manager surveys, air traffic safety record, employee involvement, and resource management. Our airport’s control tower was selected from a field of six RVA towers that received nominations.

Congratulations to our entire control tower team! We're very proud of our dedicated team and their award-winning accomplishments!
