Are your Wintix skills up to date?
Our box offices usually slow down a bit after the mad holiday rush. What an opportune time to hone or learn Wintix skills.

  • Did you know there is a Wintix User Tutorial on our Help Desk? It provides step-by-step instructions on building and editing a show, selling regular tickets and season passes, and running daily sales reports and credit card logs. 
  • Spend a few minutes browsing the Reports section of the Help Desk. You will find a wealth of information on how to create valuable reports you may not even know your organization will find useful.
  • Unfortunately, it seems like COVID-19 is still going to be a concern in 2022. It's a good time to review the tools we have for adding COVID information to your Webtix site, pay what you can features, and thinking about adding the ability to scan tickets quickly when vaccinations or testing is required for entrance to your events.

Do you know to use price categories and season packages
to sell gift certificates?
In planning for the new year, you may want to promote selling gift certificates to your patrons. It helps draw new guests and is an exciting reward for your fans. Because the certificates can be redeemed for whatever the recipient chooses, and there is no date attached, you set it up as a season package.

The other thing that is crucial for accounting and reporting is to make gift certificates their own price category.

Are there other purrsons at your company that should be getting our email newsletters and update mews?
Anyone who works with Wintix or has a crucial role in box office operations needs to receive our newsletter, as well as our emails when there are important software updates.

Part of our obligation and service is to ensure you have the information you need to be able to run our software to help manage your box office.

Ordering custom tickets? Please call us before you do! We need to provide you with specs of the black bars that are on the back of our regular tickets. They need to be printed exactly the same on the custom tickets. Otherwise, it may create problems with the sensors on the printer and you may have to adjust the offsets.
