After inheriting a beautiful antique platinum and diamond dress watch, that was no longer functional, this client turned to Diamonds On The Key to transform the watch into a special piece of jewelry, which could be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come. After brainstorming with Christina, and drawing out multiple ideas, it was decided to utilized the bracelet portion of the watch, and transform either side into a pair of long "statement" diamond drop earrings. The larger diamonds, on the case of the watch, were unset and used to create a flower style "top" of the earrings, from which the long portion could drop. Custom CADD renderings were created, the concept approved by the client, and the "makeover transformation" began! The client was incredible pleased with her new extra special earrings!

A vintage style gold & diamond necklace from the 80's was recently dropped off during the annual Diamonds On The Key "Boston Holiday Trunk Show" by this new client. This piece, which had spent decades at the bottom of a jewelry drawer, and was originally purchased from Boston area jewelry store, Shreve, Crump & Low, at which Christina Termine spent 7 years of her career as the "Fine Jewelry Buyer", began its "Jewelry Journey" from yellow gold necklace, to stunning white gold diamond ring! The client knew she would get much more use from a ring and so the fine quality diamonds, which graduated in millimeter size, were unset from the necklace, weighed, and measured. A custom ring design was created, to accommodate the various diamond sizes, in a shared prong setting, and cast in 14 karat white gold, with the diamonds being reset in the same graduated pattern. The leftover 14 karat gold necklace was weighed, with a scrap metal credit issued and applied towards the labor, leaving only a small balance to pay. Needless to say this new client was so pleased and her beautiful diamonds have been rejuvenated from the darkness of her jewelry box and now sparkle every day on her finger!

After decades of daily wear & tear, this client turned to Diamonds On The Key to replace a missing diamond from her wedding bands, as well as for cleaning and polishing. The bands were bent from years of wear, so a full tune up was in order. The prongs were checked, tighten, and replaced where needed, deep steam cleaning, polishing of all metal surfaces, and final fresh bright white rhodium add, which brought these rings renewed life and are now sparkling more than ever! Remember to have your prongs checked and rings cleaned about once a year to keep them shining bright.
