January Social Media Toolkit:

SCORE is proudly celebrating the change-making efforts and ongoing impact of our 10,000 volunteer mentors in honor of National Mentoring Month. In an effort to further elevate this campaign in the digital space, we have created a toolkit for SCORE Social Media Chairs.

This National Mentoring Month Social Media Toolkit serves as a resource guide for participating chapters to promote SCORE services, highlight our incredible volunteers and spread the word about the impact mentorship has on entrepreneurs! This collection of materials will include a combination of graphics, articles, events, templates and even suggested copy to use throughout the month of January on your chapter’s channels.

January Social Media Reminders:

Updated Chapter Social Media Content Strategy

As previously announced, we are excited to officially offer LinkedIn content publishing through the Chapter Social Media Program. This support, as well as new and improved content strategies for each of the three included platforms, is officially underway. This is a highly anticipated addition to the program, and we cannot wait to see the results and report back!

Chapter Success Story Curation Pilot

We are also in the early stages of an additional project in January: our Success Story Curation Pilot. The goal of this project is to develop and test a process for mining your chapter’s success stories from your chapter websites on a monthly basis. We expect this process to work similarly to the Facebook Event Promotion process and intend to test with a small sub-group of 10 chapters to get started.

If your chapter would be a good fit for this pilot, let us know.

Social Media Support During Website Launch

The SCORE HQ Social Media Team and the Hiper Community Management Team worked diligently with the Marketing Team to make sure the website transition was a smooth one and the services you receive through the Chapter Social Media Program were as uninterrupted as possible. In practice, this looks like a high level of support in two ways: (1) Ensuring your URLs on social media channels and posts function properly post-site launch and (2) Ensuring that all of the January chapter events you want shared on Facebook are covered.
