Celebrate Foundation Night 2023

There is Value in Vintage: Old is New Again!

Come dance the night away, win prizes and bid on amazing items while we once again celebrate our friendships and our impact as we work to make the world a better place!

In keeping with our focus on the Environment, although Foundation Night funds the Development Grants and Education Awards, the environment is too important to be ignored! We encourage you to search your closets, your friend’s closets and vintage stores as Old is New Again at our celebration.

Don your feathers, baseball caps, go-go boots, even wedding gowns or your favorite former Foundation Night costume and come celebrate with The FAWCO Foundation as we eat, drink, and dance the night away in Bratislava!

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS...CHANGING LIVES FROM THEIR HEARTS

The Foundation recently highlighted the need to raise funds to support the Development Grants and Education Awards with the hope that more awards can be disbursed to our very worthy applicants. We want to highlight our sponsors who have made these life- changing grants and awards possible. The shared thoughts of our donors certainly show us that the impact is significant in both directions - to the giver as well as the receiver. A heartfelt thank you to all of them from The Foundation. Hope is the Thing with Feathers

Photographs by My-Linh Kunst, AWC Berlin; Essay by Robin Meloy Goldsby, AIWC Cologne; and Mary Adams, AWC The Hague

Survivors of human trafficking – and the change-makers who walk alongside them – turn to hope for inspiration and courage.

In the shadowy world of modern-day slavery, hope comes in small, powerful packages – and often appears in unlikely locations. For the men and women battling the tragedy of human trafficking, hope can change lives. The change-makers in Portraits of Hope return dignity to survivors by inspiring hope in them. Portraits and essays include social workers, social enterprises, safe houses, hospitality sector employees, activists, and policymakers.

To continue to give survivors hope, this e-book is available for download for a donation of $20.

Your donation will support the Breaking the Cycle FAWCO Foundation Human Rights Development Grant.
