January 2023
Happy New Year!
To our dear friends, loyal supporters, and Tigger Stavola family.

In wrapping up 2022, we realize what a monumental year it was for the Foundation. We reached more students, more administrators, and more community members than ever before and were able to provide support, without hesitation, to many in need.

What an incredible feeling for all of us at the Foundation.

As we all know, fundraising, is the most challenging component of a non-profit; however, when you see the results of your hard work in the community, there is nothing that can compare. We have had many humbling moments this year which led us to realize we are truly making a difference.

That said, we hope everyone had a magical holiday season with their loved ones. The Tigger Stavola Foundation will continue our mission to fight addiction, spread awareness and save lives through drug prevention and education in 2023.

May the new year bring you and yours good health, attainable goals and endless happiness.

"Link the Chain" at
Monmouth Regional High School
On December 23rd the students at Monmouth Regional High School participated in an event called "Link The Chain". Students were required to sign a pledge that they won’t drink and drive, won’t drive distracted, and will wear a seatbelt in every seat, every time. Tigger Stavola Foundation provided the use of our Cannabis and Drug Impairment goggles, along with our remote control cars, which helped provide a simulation of the distortion and lack of coordination under the effects of THC and opiates. We participated as December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month.
Drug Free Club at
Long Branch High School
December was a jolly month for the Foundation, and we were grateful to provide outreach to many in the community. Partnering with the Drug Free Club at Long Branch High School, we packed backpacks for the residents of Phillips House, which serves men in recovery. Providing toiletries, new hats and gloves, socks, cards, candies, and holiday treats brought a smile to many.
Markham Place School Community Fair
We had a ton of fun at Markham during their school wide Community Day and were grateful to connect with a younger audience. We set up a table, sat down on the floor and shared our mission with all 350 students. By creating five question True/False quizzes for each grade, we were able to spark discussions based on their answers and grade level. Stress balls were given to the student who had the correct answer, leading to many more answered questions! Who says learning can't be fun?
Achieve Wellness Recovery Center
Gift bags were delivered to all residents of Achieve Wellness and Recovery, located in Northfield, NJ. Hand made by Andrea, our Director, and providing toiletries, holiday socks, hot cocoa and mugs, new writing journals, cards, puzzles and books (as well as lots of chocolate), certainly helped bring holiday cheer during a difficult time.
JBJ Soul Kitchen
We were happy to connect with our Red Bank neighbors at the JBJ Soul Kitchen by dropping off bags for those needing necessities during the holiday season. We look forward to collaborating on future events.
Santa at Garmany
What a spectacular turnout we had at our “Santa at Garmany” event! Not only did it spark holiday spirit in the community, but it was an amazing way for the Tigger Stavola Foundation to wrap up the year. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Garmany family for their contributions and ongoing support of the Foundation.
