The BOE had several recognitions this month:

• Denmark HS Girls Soccer Coach Jenn Barr, who was named the Georgia High School Girls Soccer Coach of the Year
• West Forsyth HS Lacrosse Coach John Laden, who was named the National Lacrosse Coach of the Year
• The Lambert HS Economics Team, who earned second place in the 2023 World Economics Cup
