NCDOT has approved Central Pines RPO's MOU!

As of December 11, 2023, all four counties - Chatham, Lee, Moore, and Orange, have adopted the amended MOU, and the Secretary of Transportation has signed it.

As of December 31, 2023, the municipalities of Broadway, Carthage, Pittsboro, Robbins, Sanford, and Siler City have signed the municipal statement and remain members of the RPO.

As of December 22, 2023, the Sandhills MPO was designated by North Carolina as the agency responsible for carrying out the provisions of federal and state transportation planning for their urban area.

New Website!-www.centralpinesrpo.org

In early January, I was trying to change the domain for Central Pines RPO's website from www.tarpo.org to www.cprpo.org. I locked myself out of the account and could not get back in. So, I have created a new website: www.centralpinesrpo.org.

While I can no longer access the website, I can see all of the files that were uploaded to it, and I have been using the Wayback Machine (https://web.archive.org/) to see the archived pages so that I can make sure that the most important items are added back to the website.

To date, I have added the organizational details, including the committee list, a calendar, December's agendas and presentations, October's minutes, and several items under resources: the current STIP and links to almost all plans. I will keep working to bring the rest over.

There are still several items that I still need to include, including the Prioritization 7.0 Resources,

the maps, and all of the agendas, minutes, and other meeting materials.

If you are looking for something that is not on the website, please email me, and I will find it and send it to you.

Several of you contacted me and told me the website was not working. I greatly appreciated that and the knowledge that the website was useful to you all!
