Exhibit at the 81st General Convention

The 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center from June 23rd – 28th, 2024. As part of the event, we have an exhibit show running from June 21st to June 27th which is serves as marketplace and educational center for Deputies, Bishops, clergy and lay people from around our church and the world. Exhibiting at our convention provides a unique opportunity for your company or organization to reach out and be seen by this diverse community. Volf Lecture: Recording Available

On Saturday, December 16th the Diocese hosted the the 2023 Brennan Lecture Series "The Home of God" with professor Miroslav Volf at Christ Church Cathedral.

Scholarships Available for College Students' Spring Semester

The Kohler Family Scholarship Committee meets bi-annually to review applications for students requesting financial assistance to attend college, university or vocational programs. Applicants must be baptized and be a member of a church in the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky. The applicant must show financial need, academic promise, be baptized, and be willing to provide additional supporting information as stipulated on the Application. Applications are accepted up to June 15th for fall semesters, and up to November 15th for spring semesters. For more information, please see the website here.

81st General Convention Volunteers Wanted

As a supervisor, you assist the national church’s area coordinators by managing the many volunteers needed to make the convention run smoothly. General tasks of supervisors include:

• Gathering the volunteers from the check-in area
• Explaining volunteer duties for your area
• Assisting with any volunteer issues that might arise

New 2024 Dismantling Racism Training dates

Dismantling Racism Training dates for 2024 are now available. Important information for these events is listed below.

Virtual Training Day via zoom:

Wednesday, March 20, 2024

The virtual one day event will begin at 9:30 EST (8:30 CST). We will end no later than 3:30 EST (2:30 CST). We will have breaks throughout the day and a break for lunch.

The deadline to register for a training event will be three days before the session.

To foster optimum learning and conversation, the participant limit for each training day is 24. Please sign up early to be sure to get the time you want.

Registration Now Open for The Forma Annual Conference

Forma, a ministry of Lifelong Learning at Virginia Theological Seminary, is the professional network for Christian formation leaders in the Episcopal Church. The Annual Forma Conference offers an intentional time of networking, learning, and inspiration. This year’s conference, January 22-25, 2024, will offer multiple ways to participate: individually through Zoom, joining a Local Conference Gathering, or traveling to Camp Allen or Kanuga for a Conference Center Retreat.
