The Student Reporter Essay Contest provides students with an excellent opportunity to recognize and celebrate the heroes within their communities. By sharing narratives about individuals making a positive impact, students can pay tribute to those who contribute meaningfully to their world.

MY HERO International Film Festival Awards

Submissions are being accepted for the 20th Annual MY HERO International Film Festival. Many Special Awards come with cash prizes. These include:


Sing for Hope Music Video Award, 'WOJ' Student Reporter Award,, Eva Haller Women Transforming Media Award, Ron Kovic Peace Prize, Dan Eldon Activist Award, Relationships First Award, and Sylvia Earle Ocean Conservation Award.

Students submit films for free through our Student Submissions form.

Our Media Arts Resources help students of all ages create inspiring, hero-themed films. Winning films are shared, online, with MY HERO's global learning community.
