Launched in March 2023, Brampton Angels is a members-only, not-for-profit organization of accredited investors. Brampton Angels seek investment opportunities in promising early-stage technology companies.
In addition to financial support, Brampton Angels members provide dynamic early-stage companies with valuable mentorship and access to risk capital networks to initiate learning, networking, and growth. Brampton Angels will help companies reach new heights and accelerate them into becoming market leaders in their industry by bringing together investment, experience, and expertise. The NEW BReady Talent platform is a virtual marketplace connecting talent with employers hiring for tech and business roles in Brampton. Focused on helping new immigrants, recent graduates and individuals from racialized communities gain meaningful employment, the platform will match candidate profiles with relevant employers hiring for full-time roles, allowing talent a new way to passively job hunt.
To be eligible, employers must be hiring for full-time positions in one of the following industries: health and wellness, smart city, mobility and logistics, food and beverage processing or advanced manufacturing.

The Youth Entrepreneurship program gives promising young entrepreneurs access to resources and skills providing the best chance for the success of their new businesses. You will have the opportunity to start your own business during the 14-week program that serves youth in York Region & Peel Region.
The program is delivered via online workshops with support from a professional Business Coach. It is delivered in two phases: Phase I includes a series of information workshops for 8 weeks that you will use to develop a business plan. Phase II has you actively putting these skills into practice for 6 weeks while you start your business activities with coaching assistance provided by the Business Coach.
