Isaiah Adio - Chief Information Officer | |
Isaiah Adio brings over 25 years of experience managing Information Technology operations and strategic initiatives into his new role at BCHC. Before assuming this position, he held leadership positions at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of General Services, Children’s Home of Reading, Santander Bank, Miller-Keystone Blood Center, Ovation Pharmaceutical, and the United States Department of Commerce (Foreign Service).
He is already making a difference with BCHC, with one of our CRNP's noting "He went around and met with as many employees as he could just to learn about our thoughts and concerns. His communication has been excellent and you can see he is mission driven. I really feel like he is huge asset to BCHC not just because of his skill set but his belief in our mission.”

A mom brought her 10-year-old into our Oakbrook location at the very end of the day. The child had a splinter under her big toenail. It was in deep and difficult to get out.
Needless to say, the child was in a lot of pain.
Dr. Laura Dewalt was done for the day and about to head out the door when she heard the commotion. Even though she had completed a long day, she offered to assist. It was a team effort with our staff keeping both mom and daughter calm as they worked the splinter out. Eventually they got it out. The mother was very appreciative, especially since she didn’t have to go to the emergency room.
This is one of hundreds of stories of our staff doing amazing things to help patients.
