As our first new product launch to kick of 2024, and just in time for Valentine's Day projects, City Theatrical presents QolorFLEX Quad Chip RGBA + Deep Red LED Tape (P/N 5050-24-RGBAD-60-5-20-1), which is an interior grade 24V Quad Chip 4-in-1 RGB Amber plus Deep Red LED tape with a high output brightness and the ability to create a wide spectrum of colors, including deep red, when used with a DMX color control system. This is the ideal LED tape for lighting designers looking for a true deep red color, and can be used in film, video and theatrical applications. It is available in full five-meter reels and sample strips.

Interview with Robert Scarborough CSC on the Adapter, Source 4 to Scrim, for Film Projects

Robert Scarborough CSC is a director of photography located in Toronto, Canada. His most recent work includes the ROKU original for CBC Studios The Holiday Shift, and two seasons of the Amazon Prime show The Lake starring Julia Stiles. He has been nominated for five Canadian Cinematography Awards (CSC) and won a Canadian Screen Award for his work on Baroness Von Sketch Show.

ETC Mosaic System and Multiverse for Fiber Sculpture in Ohio

“Current,” a fiber sculpture by artist Janet Echelman, made its debut as a public art centerpiece in downtown Columbus, Ohio this fall. The sculpture is made up of 78 miles of twine that ripple in the breeze above a popular downtown intersection. It is illuminated by a mesmerizing nightly lighting program controlled by the ETC Mosaic system. The lighting uses Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM technology to transmit and receive wireless DMX signals from across the street, over one hundred feet, as part of this outdoor installation.
