Project Updates

Progress is taking place on the site of the future Fire Station off of Schillinger Road.

Pickleball Park

The Pickleball Park behind the Semmes Community Center is in progress. Much of the concrete work has already been done. The large pavilion has been installed.

There has been a ton of progress to the Semmes Community Center. The restrooms and kitchen are almost complete. The new ceilings have been installed. Walls and floors are almost complete. The stage is currently being constructed. The building addition for the Semmes Chamber of Commerce should be in during the month of January. The exterior renovations have already started.

Brush Truck in Service

The new Brush/Quick Response truck has been put into service by Semmes Fire Rescue at Station 2. This truck will serve a dual purpose of fighting brush fires and structure fires that can't be accessed by the Fire Engines.

Congratulations to the winners of the Semmes Fire and Rescue Calendar Art Contest. Chief Brooks visited the schools and distributed awards to the winners.

Skol Vikings

The bowling team is having a fundraiser on Saturday, January 6th at Bowlero Bowling Alley. The entry fee is $20 and includes shoes. Go support the Vikings!
