Happy New Year!

At our Poinciana location, we've opened a new one-year-old classroom that will serve to up to 12 additional children, expanding our capacity to nurture young minds.
Parent conferences are just around the corner, offering a valuable opportunity to exchange information and observations about student's progress in various developmental areas. During these conferences, we'll share children's strengths and discuss the specific areas we plan to focus on over the next few months.
We are thrilled to embark on a new year of growth and learning with our dedicated team of highly qualified staff. Their commitment is unwavering as they strive to provide children with enriching experiences, guiding them towards reaching new milestones.
Our upcoming 2024 Gala, themed "CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES" is quickly approaching. The funds raised are used to provide safe, high-quality, affordable education and care for children. Let's make this evening a resounding success for the benefit of our young learners and their families.

Meet the Kids Day
We had the pleasure of attending the Naples Children & Education Foundation's (NCEF) "Meet the Kids Day." This was an extraordinary opportunity for those attending the Naples Winter Wine Festival to meet the kids and stop by our booth to learn all about Fun Time Academy.
This year, our theme was "It's All the Buzz!" and our adorable VPK students stole the show as they told both locals and visitors from around the globe all about how much they love Fun Time and what makes it the best place to be!

This month has been an exciting journey of discovery for our young learners as we delved into the fascinating world of "Animals in Winter." Our classrooms were full of buzz with curiosity as we explored how different creatures adapt to the cold weather.
Our little explorers discovered the diverse ways animals cope with winter. From hibernation to migration and unique adaptations, the children gained a deeper understanding of how nature's creatures navigate the changing seasons.
In our hands-on activities, we explored the various ways animals move—whether running, flying, swimming, crawling or slithering. These engaging lessons sparked curiosity and imagination, allowing our students to connect with the animal kingdom in a meaningful way.
Building on the theme of force and motion, our budding scientists explored the concepts of push and pull. Through interactive experiments and play, they gained insights into the basic principles that govern movement in the natural world.
Our journey into the world of transportation and construction has just begun. The children eagerly discovered that vehicles can move by land, air and sea. This exciting exploration lays the foundation for future discoveries as we delve deeper into the mechanics and wonders of transportation.

Vision and Hearing Screenings
Our early learners participated in Vision and Hearing Screenings this month thanks to our partnership with The Naples Lions Club. This outstanding organization offers free vision and hearing exams to all of our early learners, assuring early detection of any hearing or vision needs.
We continued our family-at-home projects this month by having our families create a snowman together. Fun Time students were so excited to talk about their snowmen with their class and explain how they decorate them. These at-home projects are a way for our families to engage with their children in a fun, interactive way and allows children to work on language skills as they present to their classmates. We are "snow" thankful for our Fun Time families who participated in this month's project!
