This term's music lessons all begin this week. Strings courses are designed for adults seeking to learn a new instrument and percussion class is for a range of abilities.

Monday afternoon, January 22, 2024, marks the beginning of the next session of Group Piano Lessons for Beginner & Intermediate Students (12308). The class provides individualized attention so that students may work at their own pace to learn technique, music reading, and music theory or to improve their already acquired skills in those areas.

New sessions of strings classes are scheduled to start on Wednesday, January 26, 2024, and are geared for those new to their instruments. Learn to Play the Ukulele for Beginners (12304) meets at 12:30pm, both Learn to Play the Cello (12309) and Learn to Play the Guitar (12310) at 1:30pm, and Learn to Play the Violin (12307) at 2:00pm. The group class format provides a unique opportunity for students to enjoy making music together, engage in group discussions, and support one another. No previous musical experience is necessary but students must bring their own instruments to class.
