Welcome to the Chamber's Small Business Spotlight series, where we take a moment each month to highlight one of our small business members!

This month's feature company is Good News Travels.

We sat down with the sole proprietor, Karen Noble, to ask her a few questions about the business. Read below to learn more about Good News Travels!

Good News Travels opened in 1996, and Karen purchased the business in 2019.

I provide trip planning for banks and organizations plus motorcoach and flight trips to the general public. Our customers simply have to "pay, pack, and load the bus". Good News Travels does everything else!

I am a very detail-oriented individual and I strive to have a smooth itinerary and happy customers on all of our trips. I truly enjoy my job!

We have had steady growth since the COVID year in 2020. All of our November/December trips in 2023 were at full capacity. Many customers are keeping in contact by email and Facebook, and more and more customers are signing up online or picking up flyers at Pea-fections.

Trips are selling quicker. I highly suggest people sign-up early. People definitely want to travel!

Be sure to check the quality of the trip. Are they staying in reputable hotels? Are quality meals provided? I don't want anyone to consider a trip I offer "cheap". I understand that travel is costly and spending other people's money is something I take seriously. Many people that plan their own trip cheat themselves by taking things out of their itinerary and not experiencing the unique, outstanding locations because of the price. When they pay one price, it's amazing how they enjoy everything with no guilt!

Remember..... dream it; plan it; do it!
