January 2025 Newsletter

Dear Beloved Members, Pastors, and Supporters,

The dawn of a new year is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate the milestones of the past year, while recommitting ourselves to the mission God has placed before us.

This past year has been one of transitions. As I have sought to learn a new system, connect with new people, and adjust to a new rhythm of life, I am excited about the possibilities ahead and deeply grateful for the privilege of leading this association into the future. Change, though often challenging, is necessary for growth. We continue to evaluate how we can better serve CCBA churches.

I am particularly thankful for the collaboration and support of every church, pastor, and team member who is committed to making Corpus Christi a better place. Your prayers, dedication, and generosity are instrumental in accomplishing the work God has entrusted to us.

I am continually reminded of Gods faithfulness. As Psalm 9:1 declares: I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”

The new year calls us to look forward with resolve and expectation. The challenges ahead are opportunities for growth, because the vision God has given us for 2025 and beyond is bold.

We are committed to deepening our impact across the priority areas that define our mission:

   •   Expanding our community impact efforts to meet emerging needs with

compassion and innovation.

   •   Planting and strengthening churches through our church planting, health,

and leadership initiatives, ensuring they thrive as centers of

transformation.

   •   Enhancing collaboration through strategic partnerships that multiply our

reach.

   •   Leveraging technology support to empower churches and communities

with the tools needed to navigate the future.

Our commitment to equip and empower churches to be the hands and feet of Christ in a world desperately in need of His love is firm.

As we step into this new year, I invite you to journey with us. Your prayers, financial support, and hands-on engagement are essential. There is room for everyone in this mission. Together, we can make 2025 a year of unprecedented impact for Gods kingdom.

Let us embrace the opportunities ahead with faith, courage, and unity. May Gods blessing and guidance be with us as we seek to glorify Him in all we do.

In Christ,

Richard Taylor
