Happy New Year! We are so excited about all the events in the CRISFIELD ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT in 2025! Please support the arts in Crisfield by visiting our galleries and businesses in the district.


Don't forget to renew your Arts Membership for 2025! Members get exclusive benefits and your membership with the Crisfield Arts & Entertainment District helps to support public art and events! Memberships start at $25 for artists and $35 for individuals. Noon New Year's Eve Party

Bring the family to the Crisfield Library for a fun event celebrating the New Year with food, crafts, music, and a balloon drop at Noon!


New Beginnings Art Exhibit

January 1 - 31

It is the New Year! A chance to start the upcoming year with new beginnings and wintery, reflective artwork to enjoy!

Pop Up Craft Workshop

Winter Art Exhibit Continues at Gallery 413

Stained Glass Beehive Workshop

January 22, 6 pm

West Main St Gallery

1100 W Main St.

Join Missy for a fun workshop where you'll create a beautiful beehive. Cost is $25 per person. Go to socoarts.org to sign up.


Connecting Crisfield Community Through Art!

Visit crisfieldarts.org/fundraisers for all of the wonderful details about a project that is being developed so that you and your family and neighbors can be a part of an art mural in Crisfield!   1. Visit any of the three art galleries or the Visitor's Center in Crisfield and pick up a sign-up card.
  2. Get the card signed by each gallery as you enjoy the beautiful art.
  3. Once you've visited all three galleries, hand your card in to your last gallery and receive your personal photo print of Brian Sutherland's, Tranquil Breeze


Looking for some exercise? Bicycle your way around to visit all 3 galleries--from the Corbin Studio bike rack to the City Dock bike rack/ West Main Street Gallery, with Gallery 413 in the middle!

OYSTER DIP 2025!

On January 1st at noon, it's the annual New Year's Oyster Dip! Join Jim Neal and others as they jump into the frigid water at Wellington Beach to bring in the New Year with positivity! You can join the dippers in the water or cheer them on. Please consider bringing a donation of non perishable food or cash to be collected by the Crisfield Police Department for our neighbors in need.


Shrimp Night at the Legion!

Event on Friday, January 3rd at the American Legion, 126 Lorrie Quinn Drive, Crisfield. Open to the Public! Join us every first Friday of the month for hot steamed shrimp, clams and hush puppies!  Support our veterans and families!
