January 2025 Newsletter

Dear Members and Supporters of the Guild,

As we reach the end of another extraordinary year, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the collective accomplishments of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and our Guild.

2024 has been a landmark year for us, a year marked by remarkable achievements and artistic triumphs. The sold-out season opener with Beethoven’s 9th symphony was breathtaking, showcasing the immense talent of our new music director Lee Mills and the dedication of each musician to their craft. Let's continue to support and uplift the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, ensuring that the magic of music reaches and inspires many more hearts and minds.

The Guild had some memorable educational meetings, socials, and volunteer projects in 2024, and we love seeing new faces in the group. As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited to build on this momentum. New projects, collaborations, and performances are already on the horizon, and we are eager to share them with you.

Thank you for being an integral part of this incredible journey. Wishing you all a joyous New Year filled with harmony, health, and happiness.

With deepest gratitude,

Yoshi Kirsch, President
