Justin Lamb,

The Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation is pleased to welcome Justin S. Lamb, P.E., as its newest board member and investor. A Hopkins County native, Justin brings over two decades of engineering and surveying expertise to the board.

As the Owner and President of Ronald Johnson & Associates, PSC, a leading civil, surveying, and geotechnical engineering firm based in Madisonville, Justin has been instrumental in numerous residential, commercial, and industrial projects—many of which have directly contributed to the growth and development of Hopkins County. A University of Kentucky graduate, he is a licensed professional engineer in 10 states and has built a strong reputation for his expertise in engineering and surveying.

Justin’s commitment to the region’s growth aligns perfectly with MHCEDC’s mission to foster economic development and create new opportunities for businesses and residents alike.

"Hopkins County has always been home to me, and I take a lot of pride in seeing it grow and thrive," said Lamb. "I’ve spent my career working on projects that help shape our region, and joining the MHCEDC board is a way for me to give back. SHOWCASING MADISONVILLE'S INDUSTRY TO STATE LEADERS

Last month, we had the privilege of hosting representatives from the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and the Governor’s Office as they toured some of Madisonville’s key industries. GE Aerospace, Ahlstrom, and Berry Global, Inc. opened their doors to provide an exclusive look at the imperative work happening right here in our community.

Discussions focused on incentives to support capital investment and job creation, reinforcing the exciting opportunities for economic growth in our region. The team also gathered footage for New Kentucky Home, the state’s latest initiative to showcase Kentucky’s business climate and quality of life.

We appreciate their visit and look forward to continuing our partnership to drive new opportunities for Madisonville!

KENTUCKY AG COMMISSIONER ENCOURAGES FFA TO BE

AG ADVOCATES

We appreciate Commissioner Jonathan Shell and Representative Wade Williams for visiting our community and speaking with local FFA students. Commissioner Shell shared insights into his role as Agriculture Commissioner, his journey into public service, and key issues facing the agricultural industry.

During a Q&A session with HCCHS, MNHHS and Lyon County FFA chapters, he addressed a variety of topics but placed a strong emphasis on the importance of FFA involvement and encouraged students to be active advocates for agriculture, sharing their own stories and experiences to help strengthen the industry’s future.

MHCEDC was proud to help secure Commissioner Shell’s visit and appreciates his time and dedication to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders.
