Teen Programs:

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for (audience)? Why should they care (benefit)? What do I want them to do (call-to-action)?

Create a great offer by adding words like "free," "personalized," "complimentary," or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take action, so consider inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

Westfield Writers Group Drop in or register via the OWWN Guide.

January 23 at 1:00 PM

January prompt: Write about something that you hate doing and how you go about trying to get out of it. Cleaning closets, preparing tax forms, updating your password list, taking down the Christmas tree.

Westfield Writers Group is for writers or want-to-be writers who have a story or memoir they would like to write, an interest in different styles of writing, a wish to interact with other writers and a desire to write in a non-judgmental environment.

This is a “just-for-fun” group. We're not professional writers. The intent is not to teach you to write but to encourage you to write something each month. Prompts are constructed with the hope that you will be inspired to write on a broad range of topics.

Contact librarian@wwpl.lib.in.us to be put on the email list for the next prompt.
