The Galleries at KPAC: Winter Art Exhibition

Winter Exhibition at The Galleries at KPAC

On view through Feb. 14

If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, there’s still time to experience the Winter Exhibition at The Galleries at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center, featuring works by William J. Gangol, William A. Gangol, and Timothy K. Hamilton.

This thoughtfully curated exhibition brings together three distinct artistic voices—spanning watercolor, photography, and painting—each offering a unique perspective on craft, storytelling, and creative exploration. Together, their work invites viewers to slow down, look closer, and reflect on the many ways art connects generations, disciplines, and lived experience.

The exhibition is free and open to the public, and remains on display through February 14, making it an easy and meaningful stop during the winter season.

January brings a lineup of performances to the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center, featuring concerts and theatrical productions that invite the community to gather, experience live art, and start the new year inspired.

Theater

Winter Opera St. Louis presents Un Ballo in Maschera

One of opera’s most compelling dramas, Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera (The Masked Ball) blends passion, intrigue, and tragic consequence in a powerful theatrical experience. Perfect for classical music lovers and first-time opera attendees alike.

The Fabulous Equinox Orchestra: Broadway to Bourbon Street

Volunteer at the Frank Lloyd Wright House

Group of volunteers and staff gathered around a large table inside the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park examining architectural drawings and small wooden models during a hands on training or discussion in a warm wood paneled room.

Interested in architecture, history, and connecting with others in the new year? The Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park invites community members to become part of its volunteer team in 2026.

Volunteer training begins in February for Docents and Tour Assistants, offering a unique opportunity to engage with one of Kirkwood’s most iconic landmarks while helping visitors better understand its architectural significance and story.

Con Spirito Concert Series

Con Spirito Concert Series: Midmonth Music Recital

A welcome pause in the middle of the day, this Midmonth Music Recital from the Con Spirito Concert Series offers a moment of calm and reflection through live organ music. Guest organist Mark Scholtz performs a free, 30-minute program featuring works by Charles Marie Widor and other composers—an inviting opportunity to reset and recharge through music.

Open Call for Art
