Welcome back, and happy new year! We hope you enjoyed a restful winter break. As we step into 2026, we invite you to reconnect with all things education - explore our upcoming events timeline, read a featured publication on school-university partnership collaboration and leadership, nominate an educator for Teacher Mentor Corps Cohort 5, and more. Governing Board Meetings

Our most recent Governing Board meeting was held Thursday January 15, 2026 from 1-3 pm in Ten Sleep, WY. If you were unable to attend, we encourage you to connect with our meeting materials folder, which has a recording of the meeting and items we covered. A synopsis of the meeting is in production and will be sent out in early February.


Our next meeting will take place in April (date TBD). If any district, organization, or region wishes to host the in-person portion of this meeting, please reach out to Nicholas.

Rhythm, Harmony, and Improvisation


University of Wyoming College of Education Assistant Professor, Dr. Margaret Hudson, and Student Teacher Supervisor Christine Harder were published in the PDS Partners Journal. The paper explores how collaborative leadership in school-university partnerships cultivates a sense of belonging and creates engaged learning communities.

Laramie's 20 Under 40 Awards


Congratulations to the Partnership's very own project coordinator, Nicholas Jesse, who was honored as one of Laramie's 20 Under 40 awardees. The 20 Under 40 program recognizes exceptional individuals who go above and beyond their professional roles to serve, lead, and uplift Laramie. The program is led by the Laramie Young Professionals organization in partnership with the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance. You can find Nicholas's 20 Under 40 section on page 14.


Cheers and congratulations to the all awardees for all the work they are doing in their community.

Voices in the Field 2026


Voices in the Field 2026 is rapidly approaching. The events are slated for March 10 at Northwest College and March 26 at Rock River School in Albany County.


This year the event aims to serve students from Albany 1, Big Horn 1, Big Horn 2, Big Horn 4, Park 16, and Washakie 2.

Do you know a Wyoming educator who would make a great mentor? The Wyoming Teacher Mentor Corps is now accepting nominations for Cohort 5!


The WTMC is designed to support excellence in mentorship for Wyoming educators and develop a community of educator fellows who can support each other.

Upcoming Conferences and PD Opportunities

Indian Education for All Content Intensive


The Buffalo Bill Center of the West will host an IEFA content intensive course on Sovereignty and Tribal Government. The professional development course is a total of 7 hours and will provide .5 PTSB credit. The course will be broken into three sessions over the course of one week and will be hosted February 10, 11, and 12.

Teach Wyoming Day


The Partnership will be hosting the next Teach Wyoming Day in collaboration with UW College of Education, UW Admissions, and UW Residence Life and Dining.


Save the date for our next Teach Wyoming Day - April 10, 2026 paired with UWyo's Discovery Day.
